I did a selfportrait brushwork in Photoshop CS3 using a conventional mouse handling yesterday morning while enjoying the rain. Jakarta has been raining and cold lately. To paint this, I combine both oil and watercolor brush set which you can actually download from the Internet.

My main inspiration of doing such a messy brushstroke is Craig Mullins, an American digital painter and the father of digital painting. He has done many big projects including the ones for The Matrix, Forrest Gump and Armageddon. I enjoy his work and spend a lot of time just stalking through his website. Although I don't have a graphic pen, I force myself to do this brushwork of selfportrait using a conventional mouse handling in Adobe Photoshop CS3.
