Inspiration in digital painting

I found a new way to get inspiration in painting: repainting someones's work in my own version. In fact, Craig Mullin has done this technique for some of his concept art. This digital painting was done in Photoshop after my student's work in my Facebook group Kelas Melukis Digital. I changed the proportion, lighting, pose and perspective. Here's the before after.
